Product
Meter run is an assembly used in differential pressure flow measurement. It consists of an orifice plate with flanges and calibrated upstream and downstream pipes. It is essential to maximize straight runs before and after a head-type primary flow element to reduce measurement uncertainty. This assembly is carefully designed to ensure all components match perfectly, preventing any faults that could result in inaccuracies. Meter runs play a vital role in achieving high measurement accuracy in industrial settings, and they are fabricated according to specific standards. The lengths of the upstream and downstream pipes are tailored to the application's needs, and will be delivered fully assembled & tested. In cases of relatively small-bore meter runs, accuracy can be impacted by imperfections in standard pipe bores, which can be addressed by using honed flow tubes with specific surface finish and tolerance standards. Meter runs are essential for guaranteeing precise flow measurement in various industrial processes. All nominal sizes are available in accordance with relevant standards, covering sizes from 1/2" ~ 2". (Larger sizes are available upon request.). Installation will be done at any angle from horizontal to vertical. Mounting options: -Flanged End Connections: Meter runs will be fitted with flanged end connections, enabling effortless installation and removal from the pipeline. Flanged connections guarantee a secure and leak-proof fit with the current piping system. -Butt Weld End Connections: In certain applications, meter runs may feature butt weld end connections, which entail welding the meter run directly to the pipeline. This kind of connection offers a permanent and robust joint, commonly utilized in industrial settings. These various mounting types for meter runs accommodate different end connection needs and pipework configurations, guaranteeing flexibility and simplifying installation in industrial flow measurement applications.
